Fourth Clarens farmer attacked

Clarens, Orange Free State, South Africa

Clarens - Another farmer has been attacked in the eastern Free State - the fourth since July.
Eddie Cressy, 65, was overpowered by four men in his house on the farm Beginsel near Clarens on Heritage Day.
Police spokesperson Majang Mosupa said one of the men pressed a saw against Cressy’s throat while another shoved the barrel of a .22 rifle into his mouth.
They demanded money.
Mosupa said Cressy didn't have any cash on him, and as a result the men kicked and hit him before fleeing in a taxi.
It's believed they crossed the border into Lesotho.
The only thing the robbers stole was a camera.
