Monday morning, 22nd November 2010, in Ventersdorp, resumed the trial of two assassins of Eugene Terre’Blanche, historic leader of Afrikaner Weerstandsbeweging (AWB, in English: Afrikaner Resistance Movement) killed the 3rd April at his farm. The trial, however, on request of the defense, has been postponed to 10th December.
The two defendants, Chris Mahlangu, 28 y.o., and another black man of 15 y.o., worked at the farm of Terre’Blanche.
Chris MahlanguOne of the two assailants inflicted more than thirty machete hits on the face of Terre’Blanche, while the other beat him with a piece of iron, till to break his body and let out the bowels.
Chris Mahlangu, despite the barbaric murder, was released on bail in July, on 5,000 Rand bail. He, however, was re-arrested in October, by command of Pretoria High Court that had rejected the grounds of magistrate in Ventersdorp who granted bail.
