13th November 2010 - Boer genocide museum at Balmoral

Today, Saturday 13th November 2010, at Balmoral, will take various initiatives relating to Veterans Day. In particular, will be remembered the fallen in the Bush Wars (Rhodesia, Namibia, Angola, South Africa) and the Boer victims of the concentration camps (Second War of Liberation, 1899-1902).
At the day will participate veterans of the former security forces of South Africa and Rhodesia, their families and friends.
The day will begin at 11.00 am with a prayer. At 11:11 will be remembered the fallen of World War I.
There’s a visit to the concentration camp cemetery and to the Boer genocide museum.
In the afternoon various speakers including: Dr Dan Roodt (Afrikaner activist and writer), Mr Gerald Fourie and Dr Tinus Maartens.
During the day you can also register to participate, in 2011, to the election of a Boer-Afrikaner People's Assembly, an initiative promoted by the Volksraad Verkiesing Kommissie (VVK, in English: “Electoral Commission for the Election of a Boer-Afrikaner People’s Assembly”). The Cmdt. Willem Ratte is among the proposed candidates.
